Partial Hospitalization for Adolescents

River Vista Behavioral Health’s adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides outpatient mental health services for teens ages 12-17. A PHP takes place throughout the day for most of the week, allowing for your teen to return home after treatment rather than remain at the facility like an inpatient stay.

Our adolescent PHP is designed to help your teen take positive steps forward in their mental health journey, whether they are entering treatment for the first time, continuing their treatment after a higher level of care or even returning to treatment after some time away.

Program features:

Group therapy sessions
Group therapy provides peer support and a platform to learn, listen and speak.

Family involvement
Family involvement is key in the recovery process. Whether it is family groups or updating the teen’s family on what is happening during treatment, we want to keep families informed and involved.

Treatment planning and updates
Mental health treatment is not one-size-fits-all, and treatment planning can help to make sure your loved one is getting the best treatment for their specific needs, focusing on their mental health goals.

Discharge planning
Your treatment doesn’t always end after you leave. Whether that is a lower level of care, support groups or just a few check-ins, we want your teen to leave our treatment with a plan in place to continue to work on their mental health.
