Comprehensive Psychiatric Services

For inpatient treatment, you stay at the hospital for your entire stay. For outpatient treatment, you only come in for your treatment time, much like you would for a doctor’s appointment. Each program may have a team of dedicated professionals including psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, behavioral health technicians and dieticians who provide therapeutic treatment for our patients.

Our Programs

Treatment at River Vista is based on a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) modalities to help patients find balance in their lives. River Vista treats adolescents ages 12-17, as well as adults and senior adults.

Adults

Adult services from River Vista are for people ages 18+ and include:

Acute Psychiatric Inpatient Care

For adults experiencing a mental health crisis, the goal of this program is to stabilize and then treat.

General Psychiatric Inpatient Care

For adults who need an extended stay in mental health treatment, the goal of this program is progress and taking positive steps forward.

Dual Diagnosis Disorders Inpatient Treatment

For adults struggling with a substance use disorder in addition to a mental health disorder, dual diagnosis treatment can make a difference.

Intensive Outpatient Program

For adults stepping down from inpatient treatment or needing a lower level of care, an IOP provides therapy and mental health services for just a few hours a day throughout the week.

Adolescents

Adolescent services at River Vista are for those ages 12-17 and include:

Acute & General Psychiatric Inpatient Care

For adolescents in need of a higher level of care, our inpatient programs can provide the treatment your loved one needs.

Dual Diagnosis Disorders Inpatient Treatment

For adolescents struggling with a mental health disorder and a substance use disorder, dual diagnosis treatment can make a difference.

Intensive Outpatient Program

For adolescents needing a lower level of care, an IOP takes place for just a few hours a day throughout the week.

Partial Hospitalization Program

For adolescents that may not need as intensive of a stay as inpatient treatment, a PHP takes place for most of the day throughout the week.

LGBTQIA+ Services

We offer treatment services that are informed when it comes to sexual orientation and gender identity so that you may feel comfortable and like you are in a supportive space when receiving the treatment you need.

Military and Dependents Services

Military members and their families face different challenges than the civilian population, and, at River Vista, we get that. Our military and dependents services are designed for veterans, active-duty military and their families.
