About Us
River Vista Behavioral Health provides a wide range of mental health and addiction services to adolescents and adults in the Madera, California, area.
Hope and Healing Through Compassionate, Patient-Centered Treatment
Along the bluffs overlooking the San Joaquin River, this brand new, 81,600-square-foot, 128-bed facility, will provide behavioral health services to residents and visitors in the Central Valley.
River Vista Behavioral Health will provide inpatient and outpatient treatment services to children and adults. One 24-bed unit will be dedicated specifically to pediatric psychiatric care, treatment, services and educational needs, assisting Valley Children’s in addressing the needs of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
The new hospital will employ more than 250 people, including clinicians, nurses, mental health technicians, support staff and administration.
Our Programs
Children & Adolescents
Full continuum of inpatient services, including units designed specifically for patients, ages 5 to 17.
Adults
Inpatient programs feature individualized treatment planning to target the specific emotional and physical needs of each patient.
Outpatient
In addition to inpatient treatment, the facility will offer robust outpatient programs to address the most prevalent behavioral health concerns including child, adolescent and family counseling; and treatment for depression, anxiety disorders and other common behavioral health issues.
